To assist with visitor management and improve the quality of the tourism activities offered in the nature park, we have developed a range of different walking trails.

Among other destinations, our trails cover the following highly attractive areas:

• Frauenstein Castle
• The mountainous cattle-farming areas around Stützengrün, Schönheide, Auerbach/Schnarrtanne, Wernitzgrün and Rothenkirchen
• Sayda/Dorfchemnitz and
• Mulda.

We received financial support under the LEADER-2014 Directive to carry out this work.

Further walking trails are planned for Schöneck and Rechenberg-Bienenmühle.
