The nature park’s management team and Saxony’s State Land Survey Office (LVA) have worked together to produce the most up-to-date hiking maps currently available for this area.
The maps cover the area between Bad Elster (Vogtlandkreis district) and Frauenstein (Mittelsachsen administrative district) at a scale of 1:25,000 (4 cm on the map = 1 km in reality).

In addition to the hiking routes and footpaths, the maps also show routes that are used as cross-country skiing trails in winter.

The maps are available from the nature park’s head office in Schlettau Castle and its field offices in Pobershau (Erzgebirgskreis district) and Hammerbrücke (Vogtlandkreis district), as well as from the Saxon State Service for Geoinformation and Surveying (GeoSN). They can also be obtained at tourist information offices and bookshops in the region. We would be happy to send you copies on request (plus postage).

The cycling and horse-riding trails in the Erzgebirge/Vogtland Nature Park are shown on three topographical maps at a scale of 1: 50,000 (2 cm on the map = 1 km in real life).

The maps are available for €7.70 each from the Staatsbetrieb für Geobasisinformation und Vermessung (GeoSN), regional tourist offices, sports shops and bookshops in the region, and of course from the nature park head office and its field offices in Pobershau and Hammerbrücke.
